Martin Schultz |
At this stage, I am not suggesting that either one of the two remaining presidents fits into the categories of being either the Antichrist or the false prophet. Instead, what I am suggesting is that they are both individuals who we need to keep a very close eye on when it comes to a better understanding of the end times, leading up to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For years and years my understanding of the scriptures regarding the revealing of the correct identity of the Antichrist, the more prominent of the two beasts, was that he would confirm a seven year covenant with many. There are differing points of view when it comes to the interpretation of word many. For the time being I do not want to become side tracked by becoming embroiled in a correct understanding of that particular piece of scripture.
Once again, I am not even coming close to signifying that the EU's next seven-year budget is the seven year treaty we are looking for. All that I am suggesting is that it may just be the ONE; with that being the covenant of Daniel Chapter 9, Verse 27? And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (KJV)
What that means is that initially we shall know who the Antichrist is by his confirmation of a seven year treaty.
In the light of the European Parliament approving the EU's 2014-20 budget strategy look at what we have thus far.
Approving something is just another way of saying, endorsing, or confirming whatever has been proposed. The parliament will not cast its final, legally binding vote on the bloc's 960-billion-euro (1.25-trillion-dollar) budget for 2014-20 until September at the earliest. Whoever is the president of the Parliament at the time of the signing of the changes will be the one who is going to confirm the treaty. Germany is the most powerful economy in the EU and interestingly enough the president of the Parliament is a German, a man named Martin Schulz.
This is the first time the legislature of the Parliament has had the power to sign off on the EU's expenditures. Common sense would dictate that whoever controls the purse strings of the EU virtually controls the whole show and in this case it is Martin Schultz. If Schultz is going to sign off on the treaty by still being the president of the parliament at that particular time he will be the one we are looking for? If we take a long hard look at Martin Schultz can then understand that he is a new kid on the block and that more than likely he is going to confirm a seven year covenant with many? That then ties in with what has been common knowledge relative to the introduction of the Antichrist. That the newly appointed president of the EU would be the one who is going to confirm, but not design, the covenant of Daniel.
Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, was the main man who represented the member states in the negotiations “This is about real jobs for real people and it beats any alternative that I've heard proposed Kenny had said" What has taken place also ties in with the prophecies which tell us that the Antichrist will only confirm and not design what others have worked out.
WHY I AM NOT A DISPENSATIONALIST John Nelson Darby is recognized as the father of dispensationalism later made popular in the United States by Cyrus Scofield's Scofield Reference Bible. Charles Henry Mackintosh, 1820–1896, with his popular style spread Darby's teachings to humbler elements in society and may be regarded as the journalist of the Brethren Movement. CHM popularised Darby more than any other Brethren author. As there was no Christian teaching of a “rapture” before Darby began preaching about it in the 1830s, he is sometimes credited with originating the "secret rapture" theory wherein Christ will suddenly remove His bride, the Church, from this world before the judgments of the tribulation. Dispensationalist beliefs about the fate of the Jews and the re-establishment of the Kingdom of Israel put dispensationalists at the forefront of Christian Zionism, because "God is able to graft them in again," and they believe that in His grace he will do so according to their understanding of Old Testament prophecy. They believe that, while the methodologies of God may change, His purposes to bless Israel will never be forgotten, just as He has shown unmerited favour to the Church, He will do so to a remnant of Israel to fulfill all the promises made to the genetic seed of Abraham. I am not a dispensationalist; it is unbiblical.
