We’re entering the 70th Week of Daniel

The Antichrist as he will sit in the temple in Jerusalem
In the early 1990s, when I first began my journey studying and reporting on the end times Bible Prophecies I was not aware of the varying methods for the interpretation for the word of God. My experience was strictly limited to a long history of a literal belief in the Bible as being the infallible word of God. So, what follows is not intended as an argument for a particular method of biblical interpretation. Instead, what I am reporting is the fulfilment of the Bible prophecies based on the interpretation that I have learnt from now deceased preachers of the old school of thought. Simply, there was no one who knew it better.

In the Old Testament book of Daniel we read:
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Daniel Chapter 9, Verse 27 (KJV)

I tend to follow that old school of thought mentioned above where it is commonly believed the passage above foretells the rise of a new leader from out of a Revived Roman Empire, the president of the EU, who will confirm, strengthen, or make strong, a covenant, agreement, or treaty, with many for a period of seven years. Israel will be included in this covenant. After 3 1/2 years, the leader will put an end to the sacrifices and cause the oblation to cease. From the book of Daniel, we learn that this leader will appear among a 10-nation alliance (Daniel 7:7-8). Just after coming to power, the leader will subdue three kings from the 10-nation alliance (Daniel 7:24). In the New Testament book of Revelation we are told learn that this leader will be identified by the number 666 (Revelation 13:18).

May it also be noted that the old school of thought mentioned above interprets the above passage from the book of Daniel to refer to a seven year peace treaty in the Middle East. However, if we were to read the passage once again it should be noted that there is nothing at all that is actually said in the passage about a peace treaty. All that it really mentions initially is a seven year treaty. To say that Daniel Chapter 9, Verse 27 is referring to a peace treaty is like those who would say that this verse or that verse refers to a Rapture. However, the word Rapture is never mentioned anywhere in the word of God. In this instance all that is happening is that something is being added to the Holy Scriptures that is not to begin with.

There is a great deal of information on Wikipedia relating to the treaties of the European Union. However, there is really far too much information there to copy and paste here. What I am dealing with specifically are the major treaties that have thus far been ratified which have enabled the European Union to progress thus far. There are only just two major that we need to mention; The Treaty on European Union and Treaty on the functioning of the European Union. However, as we are dealing with the end times Bible Prophecies what we need to be looking for specifically is a seven year treaty of some kind that will enable us to point more directly to that treaty and then say that is the treaty of Daniel. After that we will then be able to confirm the current EU president as being the Beast of Revelation Chapter 13 - the Antichrist.

Until I heard the news the other day that European Council president, Herman Van Rompuy, has clinched a Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF) for a near one trillion euros budget after proposing a €34.4bn cut over the next seven years there was no sign of a seven year treaty on the horizon. Now of course there is just that. Who is going to ratify the agreement remains somewhat opaque? Nevertheless, we know who it is going to be, the Antichrist, and as it is Van Rompuy’s handiwork it is best left to the imagination of the reader as to just who is going ratify the treaty? Keep in mind also that the Antichrist simply ratifies what others have already worked out and thus far at these series of meetings there has been no sign of Van Rompuy.

Friends, the entire end-time picture may now be right before our eyes. And, it’s my fear that, because of doctrinal differences — some very minor — many of God’s people will continue to be uninformed. There is much more information yet to come. But, in light of all that’s been presented, I don’t think more information should be necessary.

If we’re entering the 70th Week, then we should expect a gradual peace to begin dawning over the Middle East. We should see many of our own religious leaders seduced by the Antichrist. Then three and a half years after the treaty has been confirmed later on this year in June. Expect it all to fall apart as the Antichrist breaks the treaty leading the world into the Great Tribulation period.

MARK MY WORDS WELL WHEN I SAY THAT ONCE THE COVENANT OF DANIEL HAS BEEN SIGNED WATCH THE CHANGE COME OVER THE SIGNORE, WHOEVER HE HAPPENS TO BE?

Stay tuned!

WHY I AM NOT A DISPENSATIONALIST John Nelson Darby is recognized as the father of dispensationalism later made popular in the United States by Cyrus Scofield's Scofield Reference Bible. Charles Henry Mackintosh, 1820–1896, with his popular style spread Darby's teachings to humbler elements in society and may be regarded as the journalist of the Brethren Movement. CHM popularised Darby more than any other Brethren author. As there was no Christian teaching of a “rapture” before Darby began preaching about it in the 1830s, he is sometimes credited with originating the "secret rapture" theory wherein Christ will suddenly remove His bride, the Church, from this world before the judgments of the tribulation. Dispensationalist beliefs about the fate of the Jews and the re-establishment of the Kingdom of Israel put dispensationalists at the forefront of Christian Zionism, because "God is able to graft them in again," and they believe that in His grace he will do so according to their understanding of Old Testament prophecy. They believe that, while the methodologies of God may change, His purposes to bless Israel will never be forgotten, just as He has shown unmerited favour to the Church, He will do so to a remnant of Israel to fulfill all the promises made to the genetic seed of Abraham. I am not a dispensationalist; it is unbiblical.
